I use these and have done so for some time. They take the stock NVIDIA
forceware drivers and soup 'em up a bit.

i used to use special drivers for my old vid card but my new one keeps saying it doesnt have enough power when it does, (i think the connections are screwed like everything on my comp) so i cant use any special drivers cause it just makes the Nvidia sentinel pop up even more than normal.

Used to use these for XP...wonder if they are any good for Vista. Though im contemplating going back to XP, just have no time to format...

Have you tested the driver difference or is there any sites that do to work out the actual improvement in performance?
Contemplating getting these, but wondering whether it is really worth it (depending on perfomance increase).

For anyone with a 7xxx series card and Windows XP I highly recommend you download the XTreme-G 86.63's from their website. Insane jump in performance for me on my 7800GT (just when I thought I was going to have to invest in a new video card ;) ).
Pretty much stays at 99fps and drops to around 70 when it gets heated (in a server of around 40 people). Used to drop to around 50-60.

is there anything out there to do the same with a "radeon 9600xt"?
i'm not very tech savvy, and don't want to mess things up by using the wrong driver
hints?
