I couldn't see them and I was chasing the solider who went down the alley who I did see dam your sneaky camera angles CHUC. Anyway we got them all in the end and I then proceeded to blow myself up not once but twice with the crazy deviation of the noob tube. :stick:

whoever is prone spamming the corner there needs a bloody slap , not only is it vanillaish but it also doesn't have any benefit unlike vanilla whatsoever now , there couldve been a guy crouching on the edge of a wall ready to fire and his chance of survival would've been at least 60-70% greater then the prone spammer who had no cover.
But yeah funny pic and quite a common situation in PR from what I've seen.

I remember that exact moment, those pesky U.S. were shooting at me.
And FYI Vis, at least two of those guys were spotted on the mini-map.
Remember seeing you guys comming up behind them on the mini-map and thinking
"ahhh it's all good, they're gonna sneak up behing em and solve all my problems"................OR NOT LOL!!!!

Heres your answer Mr know it all AK-101 weapon deviation stats thanks to our very own community member, Standing 8.98, Crouched 4.9 & Prone 2.45. Notice the very large difference between crouching and prone accuracy thats why I do it, I will continue to do it and you can keep your allegations to yourself. As to them being spotted as I have already mentioned I cannot see these two players even if there spotted at that close a range it makes no difference. What you cannot see due to the angle of the camera shot is the US soldier going around the end of the building who I ran down and killed. The US player who has the ??? above his head, I spotted after I was killed was taken out in turn by Chuc I believe and he then revived me.

Vis is funny...........
He's gettin angry.......
:P
Relax Mr Grumpy pants!
EDIT==> But in relation to what you were saying ice,
There is nothing wrong with going prone....
IN FACT there are quite a few advantages -
A lesser bullet deviation being one,
You make a smaller target for your enemy to shoot at being two,
And I've been told by several ppl (and others may agree or not)
That in some military forces you are taught to DROP, ROLL, and FIRE when making contact with the enemy or when being fired upon.
Since we can't ROLL in PR we'll have to just settle for the DROP and FIRE approach aye?
Fallen.

Some....ALL !
It is very rare that a "good" soldier would fire from any other position if they had a choice. With a few exceptions such as CQB and jungle terrain etc.

The drop and fire sure but where does the roll come in? With all the gear you carry it's next to impossible to roll, it's more like a crab shuffle.
Vis, Rambo was a good soldier and he didn't reload either and was able to fire an FN one handed and standing! Rambo is my hero.

No way, Arnie > Rambo.
Among so may other things, he can use an uzi and the nozzle of a fuel tanker to make a flame thrower (True Lies).
He can also say "Get to the chopppper!" among so many other memorable lines.
That thing that makes insta-prone 'cheap' is that there is no first person roll animation for the player rolling to disorientate them, plus there should be a second or two where you can't fire or where you have massive weapon deviation while going prone. I can understand people getting a bit pissed when they are shot by a guy who is in the middle of an evasive roll.
However unlike nilla, it only takes one or two rounds to kill a player so if you are a good shot insta-prone will not help them much as they become almost immobile once prone 'easy kills'.

I have found myself shooting people in the face when they go prone a lot more lately. I've never really taken the time to purposefully aim for faces and the other day wiped out a 5 man squad on Mestia all with headshots.
It was my best fight ever and left me bleeding and I had to go and pick up all their kits to get bandages.

I say one thing works in vanilla and PR, in a small space spam spam spam and hope like hell as the saying goes spray and pray (Thompson WW2)
