GOD i am soooo excited. this was my favourite mod b4 PR but then they didnt update for like a year and i thought it was dead.

i swear guys when this comes out, it would be so cool to have a Bigdy/GSA server. i mean theyve got a whole new BF2 like squad leader and commander system and everything, along with FPS and RTS genres combined which is the only game ever to do so. apparently they can also get up to 40 players in a server lag free now and have big maps, so its gonna be freakin sweet.
sorry if this is all a bit difficult to read im just super excited. btw Empires is a mod for Half life 2 and its coming on november 30th!!!!!!!! (though ill be on holiday at that time :( )

im working on it. made a thread at GA and internode and some1 responded at GA that they're hosting the file, and that hopefully a server will come later. at the moment im just downloading the torrent, which started off slow but is now going at about 80kb/s.

I'm actually very impressed. The insurgency mod is absolutely awesome, and I'm sure this will be very enjoyable as well.

its true it wont please everyone here. while the infantry battles are quite realistic the vehicle warfare is not, but its still great fun and i can promise u u'll never play anything else like it will the rts/fps mix of genres. unfortunately at the moment theres only one Aussie server and its a clan one so its really laggy as its constantly full and a pos machine runs it, but ive been playing on some korean ones which are fine with a ping of 150.
