bought COD4 last weekend and visually it is stunning...
the depth of field/adaptive focus is magnificent...

online it is too fast like UT and is for 12 year old boys who have practised COD MP to death...

the maps would be great if bigger and unscripted in SP... but it is a good game for SP - PR is much better MP

Yeah SP was epic, I beat it on Hardened the first time, which IMO is the difficulty it should be played on, because normal is way too easy and veteran is just ridiculous. MP from what ares tells me, is like vanilla on ADD + Anabolic steroids.

Also has anyone managed to beat the mile high mission on veteran?

Pretty much is, unless some fantastic mod come out for its MP it's not really worth the dosh unless of course you like the whole spasticated run , jump and spray spam gameplay of it's MP.

But once again like i said before, the SP is thoroughly enjoyable, much like a action movie. Also pay attention for the numerous movie references e.g Aliens, black hawk down, terminator, etc.

:) MP is def outstanding in my opinion better than the last COD games, even single player at the end when the SAS die damn so emotional I mean it. I believe its much better than PR, for some reason thats very strange of me to say that. Its got this deal where you have always got something to unlock and not just weapons or attachments etc.

Can only hope some good MP Mods come out soon. It would be such a waste of a good game engine to be left with whats on offer at the moment.

MP death match was fun for a while.

I dont like it. My bro got it on ps3 and plays online every day.

I think SP is to scripted, to small maps. Online is like you said to fast and to small. Everyone gets droped on top of each other and grenades are spamed everywhere.

Single player with the speakers up really loud is great. Nice cinematic scenes.

there is a hardcore mode were the remove crosshairs and i guess increse damage but would probley be only good in small numbers
