Is it Crown Royal? That stuff is waaaaay good.
I got a 22inch LCD monitor to replace my 21" back breaking CRT.
I seemed to have a theme this year. I got a travel rolling case and a stash box, I also got some weed card game from the gf little sister and her mom got me a brewing kit!!
It was a very good Christmas.
My mom sent me lots of Canadian stuff. She sent me a Molson Canadian pint glass to add to my large collection that I've been stealing from bars around the globe. She sent me a Molson Canadian backpack that is also a cooler/eskie that has a beer flap at the top and can hold an entire two four as we call a slab up North.
She also sent me a book on a Canadian Officer who was a peace keeper in Rwanada and had to watch the entire genocide and could do nothing. He came back to Canada a broken man and now helps kids affected by war. I think it will be a tear jerker, not very Christmas like but I'm sure it's going to be great along side all my other military books.
Oh yeah, the gf's dad gave me an air conditioner. He's a builder and got a good deal and well I get a little warm for my liking here in Oz so you can imagine how happy that made me!!!
Mostly I'm happy about the time I spent with my new family and the good laugh we had and the quantity of booze we managed to get in us.
Happy Holidays everyone!!

I have a friend who is a journalist and at the time just after the Rwandan thing was there as a sound tech for the ABC (oz)... they had trouble reporting a story with the camera and reporter and everything because bloated corpses were popping all over the place. Unfathomable carnage.

Yeah... sorry for ruining it... I have heard of that man and that book BTW.
Real War is disgusting. Games are fine. But real war is horror. No jokes.
But you knew that already... I am sure... highly recommended war journalism:
http://hotzone.yahoo.com/ but the ridiculous nature of the advertising jusxtaposed with the war stories on yahoo is incredible...
my blog whinge about it (http://emeraldsandash.blogs pot.com/2007/12/kevin-sites-in-hot-zone.html)
cheers.
