Anyone seen this or watching it on TenHD(Wednesday nights @ 10:30pm)

Its a dramatized take on war in Iraq. Pretty good so far(they are upto ep 6).

I've seen it, pretty good stories and some decent action. Well worth watching before a game of PR.

If you like this show you might want to look up Gunner Palace (http://www.gunnerpalace.com /) similar except its a movie either way all very interesting.

Yeaah not too bad, nothing great either though. I like sergeant scream though, he's cool.


Nothing beats band of brothers though :D

Yeah same Davee. It was just starting to get good at the end. Got it on DVD a few years ago and watch it all in 1 seating. I felt it had a lot of dribble in it though.

Yeah a fair bit of crap. Annoyed they didn't make a second season, almost makes it worth not watching as there isn't really any closure on anything.

I remember seeing a British mini series called Over There or something similar. It was set during WW2 but had no combat scenes. It focused on the rivalry between UK and US troops who were stationed in london (perhaps before D-Day).

Ye FOX like to cancel shows in there first season :(. Like Space: Above and Beyond.

Not a season two but the Pacific Theatre and it's being filmed in Victoria. They could not make a season two of Band of Brothers, the war ended and Easy company when home.

Oh and remember Blithe? The dude who went blind with fear? He did not die from that gunshot and in fact served in Korea as well and died in the 60's still on active service.

Other inaccuracies or stuff they left out such as this one which I really feel should have been shown. Some members of Easy where looting the dead Airbourne, they where laughing at the good stuff they found until someone found some baby booties. They stopped immediately and they didn't loot the dead anymore.

Get the book, it's a great read.
