ha ha ive done that was heaps of fun, the only problem i found was the fact that it always had to be a head shot or it didnt count, and once u have reloaded it booms out "RELOADED" and ur stealth is gone

Hahaha oh THAT'S what the Mil Sims Evolution games are! We do have that over here in Perth but it's ages away and I've only been twice. The first time it had rained earlier in the day and it was just a muddy mess. The second time was a lot of fun, except for my one friend who took up position in a tree... only to realize it was infested by red ants! You could hear him cursing from all the way across the two fields! :D

Looks pretty interesting. If you supplied camo and all that kinda stuff I would be interested in making a weekend of it sometime in the future.
Is there a H-AT? :P

Thanks for the comments guys.
Shotgun - no that never happens to us. We use the latest Frag software that is the most realistic sim based in the world. All sounds are actual digital samples of M4, M16, AK47 and SAW. You were probably playing the public kids sessions.
MilSims are for over 18 only and are closed to public. They are so realistic in December last year we provided the OpFor for an Army readiness exercise.
Psyrus - sorry but this is the most advanced military experience in Australia currently. What you played was probably the public battlefield live or something.
Davee - yes you can hire camo gear from the local business owner that we hire some of the equipment from. Call me on 0404 144 308 or email me and book in. I'd love to have you out there. We've got plenty of AUSARMA guys out each month!
Nearly everyone has their own gear and their own weapons. Obviously we are not allowed to show the level of combat or the weaponry we use on our website. PM or email me and I will send you pics of SAWs, M4s, claymores, C4 satchels, etc.

Oh ok, guns looked familiar. This is what we played:

I guess in analogous terms, we played BF2 while you are playing PR. Same engine, different gameplay.

Sorry Psyrus. More like you play BF2 while we play VBS2. Not that there is anything wrong with that when that is all there is available. I began using the same equipment on the manufacturer's fields here in Brisbane. The weapons that are hired are supplied by the same manufacturer but that is the extent of the 'same'ness. The software we run is Frag not the old BFS stuff that comes in those shells. Frag has near misses, variable damage, health and ammo resupply, weapon IDs, accuracy, objectives, 13 different weapon configs all with realistic rates of fire, damage and digital sounds, etc. The old software just has a certain number of hitpoints and that's it. The weapons that are not hired (ie built and owned by most of the attendees) are full replica's which are not allowed to be used in public sessions in Australia.
Yeah Davee, do what you can and let me know your plans so I can help this end. Try and get up prior to June as in June there is a full 3 day session that is the highlight of the year for LS. Players come from all over Australia including Perth and Adelaide for that one.
