Is it just me, or has the BF2 master server gone down?

yep me no PR either!!! "connection failed" dam EA be there is something they are releasing it happened when 2142 came out and the servers were so jammed up with traffic!!!!

looks like when the map changed on server 2 everyone lost connection once it tried to reconnect between rounds (i believe it does this) cause there was 24 ppl for ejod now none for sunset! :( EA i hate you!

All BF accounts are back online, It had nothing to do with GSA server

yeah its the BF2 master server run by EA it hold all the accounts

Back Up. They do maintenance on the server backends on mondays 12am PT. Get back on biatches!

the server only has 14 players...so some can log in and most cant

very strange....oh well back to the IPL.

Was wierd last night. I had trouble getting on, but still managed it, played the end of 7 Gates, then it rotated onto Kashan - and we had only ten players. There must have been at least 35 before hand... Was on TS with a mate who crashed to desktop, and couldn't rejoin. Left the server when there was only six left! :)It's a mighty big map for only three enemies!

Yeah I had trouble getting on, too. First time it just stopped entirely, the second time went through after a slight delay.

When it stops, it locks down my whole computer (cant alt-tab or cntl-Alt-Del), which is bloody annoying.

Conspiracy theory, but could DICE/EA just shut down their server, killing the game, just to get ppl to play their newer offerings??
