hey guys im looking for a gold edition of arma but i dont want to pay the EB price of $79.90. does any one know where i can get a legit copy for a good price. i have checked ebay but there is nothing in OZ.

yeah i think we've pretty much sold ebay out in terms of copies of arma :I. you could always try the UK stores cause it comes to about $35 AUS:

but yeah otherwise theres nothing left other than a couple of expensive copies of combat operations.

I will also be looking for a copy next month. Is Gold edition Arma and Queens Gambit or something else?
I played Arma demo for probably an hour and have not been back but some of the recent screenies seem awesome. Not sure whether I have the time to put into it also.

yeah gold editions just QG and arma, not really worth it imo as no1 other than rhodesy uses QG :P
yeah time wise we had an 7 hour game last night which was fricken epic and one of the best rounds of arma i'd ever had, so you might not have the time for it lol.

i can tell you i've never seen a QG online server, so the only thing it really has is single player, which isnt where arma shines imo

Yep that game last night was epic in every sense of the word, and we only had 4-5 people on, lol.

Coop ArmA is like an orgy, the more people that are there, the better it is. :blush:

95% of the ArmA population play with just the standard ArmA game (no QG required).

If you still want QG PM me and I tell you of a way you can get it very very cheap ;)

need help..
i just bought arma today and i cant work out the patches i need to down load. i know i need to patch to 1.05 then to 1.08 then to 1.14 but the issue is im not sure witch version, usa/ euro versions to download..
there is a euro 1.05 patch for 505 games boxed at about 225mb and then there is a international one at about 460mb. does it matter witch one/s i install?

I suggest the international ones that is what I used IIRC.
