I don't usually cross-post things I find on digg, but if you have the time for it (long read), this guy really struggles with dealing with EA support. I hate EA and thought I'd pass it along, I got a laugh out of it.

Question though, the EA downloader service, the EA rep mentions that you only pay for a 6 month download window, if you lose the copy after that, you have to pay to re-download. Jeez, I would never agree to that. Steam have it right.

Anyway, it's a laugh if you like watching someone bash their head against what could possibly be a brick wall, or a sweatshop in India.

yeah i had a bit of trouble a few years back with bf2142, i eventually gave up and bought the physical copy, i got the game 3 days after everyone else so much for being first

only games i bought via EADM were BF2:Euro Forces & Armoured Fury, had no problem with either and as soon as i downloaded them hunted for the exe so i could back it up. Ended up getting the Complete Collection later on anyways (o:

Er valve own the rights to CSS, and steam. EA has nothing to do with them. But while you're in that fit of rage, go ahead and take out EA's chairman anyway, it's not like anyone needs more of a reason anyway! :P
