I was JUST about to post this up, great to see some stories from the guys n girls over there putting their lives on the line. One of my mates was a chook pilot in the first rotation they went over. Said it was very hairy and surreal.

Some of the chocos from my town have been to Solomon islands and Timor, but yeah i doubt you'd get a posting to Afghanistan, especially with the rudd government in power.

the main reporter, brian mcphedran wrote the amazing SAS which was a good read, hes not a half bad journo, despite my hatred of the media :D
