I really think EA might want to look at increasing the player limit above 40 players as was said to be the limit they aim for. If they keep going like this they're simply going to lose their reputation for large scale combined arms warfare and become inferior compared to some of the games coming out this year like ARMA 2 and OPF2.

If BFBC2 does 64 players I will buy it, otherwise no. Battlefield 3 will probably be years off and nothing has been released about that either.
I understand the need to be compatible with consoles but for a company renowned for their series made famous on the PC, they really don't seem to care about achieving what their previous games did.

wtf are you talking about? all of the footage is ingame. theres no editing at all. removing the hud and using an ingame camera can all be done via console, the video is just a compilation of gameplay.

hes most likely refering to the TV news report style or the satellite feed, the extra effects added in that only occur begining or end of a strip of film or simply sit overlayed.

The game looks alright, ill buy it for sure.

i have played bf bc1 and that was awesome the only down side was the the mutiplayer sucked ..... i mean if u had a shotgun u would own everyone on the map no jokes ....

Spook you can't say BF3 isn't happening, according to EA Games they have 5 works going on at the moment under the Battlefield Title so its more than likely BF3 is one of them.
We won't know for some time tho.
