Hey guys well me dad recently bought Empire Earth 2 the other day and recently had an issue with regards to attempting to play it. it goes like this:
When he puts the disk in the drive and goes to run the game it comes up with an error message of this:
Unable to authenticate original disk within time limit
my question is what on earth does that mean and how do you fix it?
My dad tried uninstalling it and when it came to the autorun part it asked if he wanted to play the game as if it was already installed. We bypassed this by just going into the cd itself and running the install exe.
Ive tried updating with a patch however the results have been the same with 2 different patches.
Telling me of being unable to install the patch because we have the wrong version and then it mentions something about check the language its in.
So yea im hoping theres an Empire earth player here who has encountered the same problem and knows how to fix it :)
