Interested in what you guys will be building for ARMA III & how intense your build will be;

Arma 3 system requirements:

OS – Windows 7 / Vista
CPU – Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon Phenom X4 or faster
GPU – Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 5770, shader Model 3 and 896 MB VRAM, or faster

NOT THIS

Minimal Specs:

those specs look like the bare minimum required to run Arma III

I think those will run the game.... on 640x480 with everything turned off/low.

I mean my current pc struggles to run arma 2 on decent settings (I refuse to play games that end up looking worse than bf2 on the settings required for them to run), from the videos of A3 I can't see it NOT exploding without a current gen gpu at least.

If you can i would HIGHLY sugest getting like a 60gig SSD card, a few people within CTB have got them and they say it greatly improves how arma2 is run.

Myself will probaly be getting a gtx680, a 120gig SSD and maybe upgrade my CPU.

yeha it defanetly improves it ive got a 120G SSD dedicated for arma

You can get a pretty badass system for $1500, you'll be fine... you could probably afford to hook me up with a new mobo/cpu while you're at it
