Downloaded and tried Entropia Universe because i was super bored, biggest trash ever. MMORPG where you can make real life cash and it uses cryengine 2, well. if you dont pay to get somewhere at first you cant gain anything practically Its a fair trade off but anyone trying to play normal has to grind it out by sucking "sweat" out of animals that can ra3p you and it takes literally hours to get the worst gun....

iirc Birds of prey was ps3 and 360 only.. they released a game for PC called wings of prey there is a 2 stage demo kicking around on steam played it at the start of the year.. was pretty good but i didnt have a joystick soo didnt get too much out of it.

also it was abit more arcadey then the original IL-2

DCS Blackshark i had only just installed the English Version after about 1 year where i had the Russian version, VO is still Russian if i can recall last night but everything is nice and English now!

The latest patch put all voice comms back in Russin( New sound system) . But a simple Modman program puts "Betty" back in English.

Before I remembered that PR existed a few weeks ago I was playing Galactic Civilisations II: Ultimate Edition religiously. Not only because it's just freaking awesome but also because my MODEM was playing silly buggers and couldn't play online games.

A quick off hand analysis is 'Civilisation in space'. So it's a turn based strategy game with heaps of customisability with some funny moments due to references to Star Wars, Aliens, Pokemon and soccer riots.

Note to self: Playing this until three am does not count as studying for maths.

Sniper Elite V2 - it's sniping fun with some graphic renditions of the damage
done when you pull off a great shot - like x-ray slow-mo of the bullet tearing
through the body, somewhat cartoon-ish but entertaining in a morbid way.

Nice for a sniping session of an evening. WW2.
