Question to Admins re: Quad guns

Just a quick one regarding not shooting out of main with Quad guns, while it is not acceptable on Karbala, is it acceptable to use them on Jabal as the quad guns are just outside main?

You can use them if North bridge is either in contention or has been capped... i'm not sure which one specifically but thats the only time you can use them

the quad cannons are aa guns. which i believe if they are being used to shot down aircraft then its all fair, (why would helis etc be flying near main anyways)

As far as I'm aware on any map if a heli flies close enough to the main to be shot at by a quad it deserves it, shooting at inf with the ones inside mains is generally impossible due to walls, hills and draw distance. The ones outside of the mains are exactly that, outside the main and thus to be shot at and used to shoot with.

That's my interpretation anyway.

i got an admin message the other week not to use them even though they were outside main but then again i was using it to shoot inf on the hilltop

It was my interpretation that the quad guns could be used at any time, at anything on Jabal. (That is the ones NOT in the base)

Getting shot in helicopter? Fly faster and lower, or avoid the area....solved
Getting shot as infantry? Flank it, snipe it, destroy it or avoid it....solved

As Far As I Know:

Quad Cannons Not In Main Can Be Used To Shoot Anything At Anytime.
Quad Cannons In Main Bases Are Not To Be Used At All.

Hopefully Bahlye Or Noddy can Answer Your Question Or Confirm What I've Said.

The Jabal Quads on the ridge Nth are fine to use as they are outside the main, but for example the Quads in the INS main on Karbala are not fine to use because they are inside the main.

why o why were the quad guns put in the mains.
put them where they will do the most damage.
make them movable.
