PR has been fine until recently. With the release of BF3 and MW3 we have lost a lot of players. Before that we were getting good server numbers most days.
Its happened with every other major game release in the past though so I'm not fussed. People come back after awhile, PR is too addicting to be left completely by minor 'distractions'. In regards to teamwork, there are good rounds and bad rounds, would be better if squad leaders were in mumble/TS.

On the topic of Bf4, I hope it doesn't turn into a COD style new game every year. It's nicer when more effort and time is put into making games.

Re: Battlefield 4

I would rather have a Battlefield 1944. Most fun year anyway with all the best weapons out and the war had the appearance of going either way. Not that there was any doubt really over the axis having its ass handed to it.

I hope that they don't go the COD route like what Gun^er said.

I also had loads of fun with BF2142. Titan mode was hilarious but never got fully into it being a Sci-Fi game.

Re: Battlefield 4

At the end of the Armored Kill Gameplay Premiere Trailer, they say that if you pre-order MOH:Warfighter then you get access to the BF4 Beta, last time they did this was with MOH:2010, BF3 came out in 2011, should we expect a release October/November next year for BF4? I would say its too much, they have many DLC's and features in BF3 that can make it last for at least 3 years, BF2 was released in 2004 and there were heaps of people playing all the way up till 2010 when BC2 came out. Hopefully they don't ruin their franchise by going all COD and releasing a game every 2 years, games to fill the gaps, such as the BC series which were trial runs for BF3, testing what people like (Rush, Destruction etc.), while keeping the majority of community where the franchise is successful, in the mainstream Battlefield range.

Re: Battlefield 4

Not having high expectations for BF4. Something occurred to me the other day and I realized that there was only 1 year between Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. For any game I wouldn't think 1 year was enough time to make it decent.

Either half of DICE spent time on BC2 and the other on BF3 or they just had a really short development time; the outsourced HUD and Battlelog and the lack of any decent features at launch makes me believe the latter.

So not having high hopes for BF4, maybe a BF2143 would catch my interest. Its just a shame that EA appears to be going down the CoD lane...

Re: Battlefield 4

its 2 years min away - relax, there's still a crapload of DLC to come out for bf3, armored kill in sept, aftermath in dec and endgame in march.

by that time MOH:Warfighter will be ready to fill the gap (from first play it wasn't to bad on the same engine - less destruction, smaller squads/fire-teams but not to bad - still a bit to be done tho).

there's always something new in the pipes.

Not really, I read a press release a while back that BC1 and BC2 were trials in lead up to BF3, BF3 takes what was good in both of them and in BF2 and brings it together, which I think is done nicely, I don't complain about battlelog and things like that, at the moment all I complain about is the ported heli maneuverability, lack of bombs for jets (an option should be to carry ONE unguided bomb to avoide people doing maaaad strafing runs) and that your explosives disappear as you die, not as you respawn, prety silly if you get revived. Aside from that, I enjoy BF3 and I can't compare it to COD because it is totally different, I played COD recently for the first time in ages and it was totally different. BF3 > COD.
