did you manage to notice any similarities between the players, such as where they live or ISP?

Wasn't really time man, but shoot me if I'm wrong - does this seem to happen more on server 1 than server 2?

You mean on the server with the slower processor and less ram ?...
It is possible there would be more issues however people getting dropped while others don't is unlikely to be due to the server.

Have been a few other servers getting the "Losing Key Packets"
drama recently

Ah ok. I didn't think it would be anything to do with the actual server's specs - more it's network (but it would be the same as the other server I guess).
Like you say, I guess it's an ISP issue somewhere?

If all the peps that got dropped were kicked for Losing Key Packets then its likely to be a PB hub issue, the servers stream directly and each player is "screened" for MD5 issues and known hacks when they join, it also updates the master PB bans dat file on the servers continuously.
Since the last PB update there have been alot of peps getting packet loss, its like the hub isn't keeping up with the servers or vice versa.

However if there is an issue with a certain ISP or with the "pipes" in a certain part of the Country then that would maybe* also mean that PB can't check the players and decides they are losing packets and Bye Bye ? .
But that doesn't explain it happening to other OS servers.

*maybe = I am no ISP/Telecommunications Guru.

At least i got my more seed friendly map now.

yes I noticed... rebooted and set to Kokan with Kashan 64 to follow.

(my fault sorry, my neighbours Evil fish touched my overly sensitive RC mouse button... )
