Re: Whats Cookin'?
North Adelaide Burger Bar "AB" (that's what the dish is called).
How much you pay is how much you get, record being a $2000 "AB" right now. It's a lamb yiros with very fine potato wedges, mix it all together with the 3 sauces and makes an amazing meal. Not something I cook at home but something I enjoy on Friday nights.

Re: Whats Cookin'?
Had one of these today. A classic, well established burger,
nothing fancy, consistent from start to finish, perfectly balanced, no risks taken. Highly recommend one of these bad boys after a big night on the piss! ![]() 144 Bridport Street Albert Park Victoria

An excellent review, followed by an outstanding image. I think tonight its mystery soup, followed by somewhat buttered chicken and probably a can of peaches for desert.

Re: Whats Cookin'?
Just tried a new way to make mashed taters.
1. Boil water 2. Get potatoes (how much you want) and drop them in boiling water, cut the taters in quarters. 3. When "al dente" tates, drain all water. 4. Crack 2 eggs put 'em in, add a bit of milk so the taters aren't dry. 5. Mash with the thing that you mash taters with. 6. Should be a yellowy colour. 7. Serve how you like, I prefer with BBQ sauce and lingonberry jam (IKEA) mixed into the mashed taters. 8. Enjoy dem taters!

Re: Whats Cookin'?
Quick Q: Are you meant to peel washed potatoes before you cook them as chips? If so, is this possible without a designated peeler?

Re: Whats Cookin'?
You don't have to take them off, some people like to leave them on as they create an extra little crunch.
You can peel them with a knife if you want, make sure to wash them before cooking as to clean off the starch, and if you boil them before frying them, I recommend you dry them out first.
