I honestly think CoD are killing themselves now.

Personally think this is Call of duty + Battlefield 2142

I actually think this is a good path for CoD, spice it up a little bit. If anything it's going to revive the franchise a little.
Better then the same game for the 5th time!

Since Makarov was dead. Nothing left for the rest of the storyline in the MW series.
Same idea to 2142 not that attractive to me tho.
Personally. im kinda into METRO 2033. Distinctive features, Depressive background, Underground world.....

Problem I have with the COD series is everything is so over the top constantly it just ends up being bland.

Nah, I reckon they are going to have a hard time getting into the Sci Fi genre. Halo 4 drops in a few weeks before hand, and I know where my money is going...

At least this one is just by Treyarch not like MW3 which was by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer, Treyarch, Raven & Neversoft (guitar hero devs lol).

For a while now Treyarch have been making the more interesting cod games. In my eyes at least World at War and Black Ops both were much better than either MW2 or MW3.

My money is on E3 this year for the reveal of what Respawn are making. And in case you don't know, Respawn are the actual people who made the original cod games and MOHAA for that matter (they left Infinity Ward after activision ripped them off millions of dollars in royalties due from MW2).

I used to play UO with Vince Zampella (and a few blokes from 2015 back in the early part of the last decade).
He's a bloody good bloke. He headed IW though Moh:AA (then 2015) , COD1, COD2, COD:MW. I think they got too tied to activision's greed in the end & lost creative direction.

Knowing Vince & some of the guys hes got around him I reckon they should be able to come up with some good stuff. Time will tell.

As for Treyach - they seem to be able to sometimes build on other peoples works. A half arsed modding company, at best.

Could have swarn the rifles they were using were the SCARs off Crysis. And the drop shippy thingys looked like Pelicans from Halo.

Come on Treyarch, get some originality. And give up the franchise already. You're ruining gaming.

Treyarch (like IW) is owned by Activision, who have set them up as a COD exclusive studio... they don't have much say in what they work on. The best we can hope for is that like with the first black ops, they do whatever they can do to inject some life into it.

You have to remember that Activision is the bad guy here, not the devs. The devs want to make good games, the publisher wants to make money and couldn't give two ****s if the game is good or not, so long as it makes them another billion dollars.

They'll keep making this crap as long as there is people out there willing to buy it. To be honest I like having COD there, it keeps the tards out of the games I like and in the ones I don't.
I think of COD more like a play pen for the kids at school to who used to eat worms and chase girls with dog turds on sticks.

This just looks like an attempt to make cod like battlefield, I was laughing watching this. Looks like they haven't even improved the engine since MW1, (MW2 was just boosted up).

Need to be able to see my legs!
