Re: Whats Cookin'?
I make a pretty food-gasmic Chicken and Garlic Prawns, goes good with the sauce all through the rice and its just gasmic... It seems to get good results.

Re: Whats Cookin'?
Hey good-looking,
This series of instructions have been passed down through my family for generations I am horned to share them with you today. ![]() WARNING THE FLOWING METHODS SHOULD BE UNDERTAKEN BY TRAINED MIGORENG COOKING PEOPLE. I take no responsibility for burning your hands if you forget to use the ovenmits. I've gone for a Santa design, suits my curtains. I love a nice rainy day, good tea and books, I also cook noodles sometimes when im hungry: Here's the secrete steps: 1. Open the pack - break up the noodles- put them in a bowl, 2. Put hot water in - just to the top its not that hard. 3. Put the bowl in the microwaveeeeeeeee - 2mins 4. Put the favouring in 5. Give it a mix - shellbe sweetasssssss 7. No eggs or anything that wrecks it Also I was thinking of starting a business where i can sell people noodles through the mail/ let me hear your thoughts. Video of me and my friend cooking/ #mustwatch Regards, Du$toff

That aint you Tim.
Here's some Grilled apple pork i made last week. It went really nice with a few slices of grilled apple. Also cooked the marinade so I could eat it with the meat when it was cooked. Good for a pork sandwich too. ![]() Got it from here, though I used neck meat:

Re: Whats Cookin'?
On Mi Goreng, this is one from out field to mix it up from good ole rat packs, or if you've been unlucky enough to get too many H rations haha, would also be a good one for long hikes etc. as it all packs down pretty small.
Mi Goreng, some canned chicken (yeah at first I thought canned chicken wtf?) and some Mission wraps, good to go. Cook the Mi Goreng, add the chicken in at some point, give it a mix. Serve it onto the wraps, oh yeah.![]()

Re: Whats Cookin'?
OK while we're on low-effort noodle-type meals try this:
Ingredients: SAFCOL Penang Tuna (small can) - MUST be Penang Tuna 1 block of vermicilli noodles Sachet of Miso soup 3 cups boiling water 1 drop noodles in boiling water, boil until soft 2 drain enough water to leave about 1.5 cups (your choice really) 3 add miso soup, stir 4 add tuna, stir 5 scoff Recycle containers, packaging as much as possible after cleaning ![]() I dunno why but this wierd combo of japanese soup and thai style curried fish really works well. |

Re: Whats Cookin'?
Oh, and another thing.
Bizzarre combo number 2 that really works. Sharp cheese (vintage cheddar) with lime pickle (per indian takeaway). You can spread some pickle on toast before putting on the cheese, and grilling, or add the pickle to the cheese on a cracker. Sensational flavour, but I'm biased, I can eat lime pickle straight. |

Re: Whats Cookin'?
I like putting a bit of XXXX Bitter (or any beer on hand really) into the Mingaz after they're cooked. Also a bit of soy sauce.
Also like chucking beer onto any steak/bacon that's cooked. Mushrooms on the barbie, with some special seasoning (passed down from my uncle) with XXXX to give it a bit of flavour. Beer goes in anything really, now that I think about it. What is easy/cheap to cook in a small electric fry pan?

Re: Whats Cookin'?
Xavo:
Frying pan - Mushrooms (big ones cut up), with bacon, garlic, rosemary and a splash of white wine - reckon you could add cream. Serve on pasta - you'll ride like the devil after a feed like that mate! |
