Watching the wheels go round and round...

John Lennon notwithstanding... I spend a lot of time online...
not just playing PR - and I recently ("D'oh" *slapping myself in the forehead*)
discovered that if you go to one of the game monitor websites to watch
the servers here:

http://www.game-monitor.com/GameServ...BigD_PR_1.html
http://www.game-monitor.com/GameServ...igD_PR__2.html

you can watch the scores of the players rise... which is sort of cool for an admin to be able to do...
perhaps anyone with a 900 score when everyone else has 45 or less might mean admin
has to visit the server or punkbuster it to check out what's up...

It updates something like every 15 seconds or so...
which is fine for those doing other things who just want a quick voyeuristic bo-peep every now and then.

I don't understand how this works...Green arrows means their score has gone up, yeah? Yet I can see a player with -3 and a green arrow, and some players with 0 and a red arrow...

Rukudo is on a distinguished road
I'd assume its just because people above them increased their points, pushing them up the ladder. People increasing from a minus score would have had an even lower (or higher?) minus score, revived a teammate etc then increased points

I think green means score has gone up, yes -- a -3 is more than a -7, for i.e.

Red means they have moved down relative to the list and their last placement...

a dash means nothing has happened... the details are lost to me...
as are the pings...

OK, I understand now. What was confusing me was people with red arrows had just been overtaken, not actually lost points. So the arrows don't refer to their points increasing or decreasing, but their place in the list rising or lowering.

You have to remember that system doesn't really live update all that often so something you will find people who are there on the website aren't when your join.
