I thought it had ridiculous potential, but i never got it - i just ended up riding around doing odd jobs for all the different lords in their castles...never getting anywhere...I was probly missing something cause I heard some people manage to own castles themselves etc

Yep you can siege them you need alot of troops for it tho, so it costs you a bit of money, you also need them pretty highly ranked lol

So in the beta we have been having hectic battles with everything from archers to horses or infantry etc so far ive not seen a server with more then about 24 in it at once and even that is an insane amount of carnage due to everyone around the world loggin in at different times and its still closed beta so not alot of people have access.

It can handle up to 64 humans in one battle, and it has a range of maps already, as well as a few different modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, castle siege etc

If you bought the game and have your cd key around you should check often on the forums for beta to become open (not sure when or if it will) to the public and jump in and have a go.

There are alot of mods out there and some of them are very big lol star wars mods, survival ones, I use to play the one that edited battle sizes, I cant remember the limit but I think the game had a 64limit or something of units per battle the mod let you change it to over 100.

Would be fun for everyone to get the new expansion and have some multi player battles over TS.

Go take a look at taleworlds.com see if you like the look of the game, watch some youtube vids, Im pretty sure you can still try the demo if you want which is what I did, it was the full game but limited you to how much you could advance in rank then I immediately bought the game soon as I couldnt go any further lol

I bought it a long long time ago when it was still even in beta and I got it at a discount because of that, with every release they slightly upped the price to buy it.

Its a very small company, like family built so its good to see them getting so much success and its a dream come true for them to see there game taking off.

I think it costs $30AU to buy full version of M&B then theres lots of free mods on the forums you can try.
Then the expansion is in closed beta atm im not sure how much it will be when it is finished but I think I'd pay $30 again for it just because of the multiplayer fun lol.

I think you can buy it on steam to if you like using them, other wise go buy it directly.

EDIT, Price has gone up to $38AUD to buy a serial key.

Goddamnit. I re-downloaded Insurgency mod today. How I raged. I remember when it first came out, it was realistic, and it required teamwork.

Now it's degraded into a twitch shooter fest. Seriously, it's fun and all still, but it's COD4 with 1 hit kills.

Ok i'm downloading this thing now, i couldn't wait... it looks so damn cool!
So im guessing this is multiplayer with single player elements (quests etc)?

Edit: actually is looks like its single player.... so will the expansion be multi then?

Yes the expansion adds multi player modes like DM, capture flag, castle siege etc on different maps with upto 64 players, you select team then you select your troop style, IE cav, inf, archer etc etc and it then lets you select from a range of weapons in that category.

So its mainly a single player kinda game but which is why I sorta ain played it for a long time Ive been waiting and hoping for multiplayer which I was selected to play in closed beta for

Its a fun game, nothing like it ive ever seen or played before which is why I loved it when I first found it on youtube.

Its low requirement specs to so you will be able to run it pretty well unlike alot of new games today..
