Opening Ceremony at 10:08 AEST tonight. You guys in WA will be right on time at 8:08.

I sincerely hope Channel 7 don't stuff up the coverage - their cross-marketing pop-centric attitude really annoys me at times. I'll be watching SBS a fair bit over the next few weeks I think. team sports >> swimming.

I saw the first 30-1hr and I was quite impressed visually it was pretty damn good 3hrs though forget that, who cares about the country teams parading pfft let em do their stuff on the day... Oh yeah Boxing better be covered.

I freaked when the flower blossoms popped out the top "how the hell", the firework footprints were awesome, gotta say I was pretty impressed for the most part of what I saw..

I laughed when I heard the commentator say something about this is about kids/ people respecting there environment / country/ earth or whatever and i was like.. are you fking serious? There one of the biggest polluters in the world and have some of the worst animal rights and he thinks they are doing something to resemble the earth/environment.. lol sure they are.

Couldnt watch it all.. just 15min after that i was bored and went back to arma.
