Haven't done it yet but always wanted to skydive/base jump,
about a year ago I looked into pricing to get my license here in Adelaide:

Just over 2 G's to get the license which included 10 jumps.
After that you just have to get a few guys together and hire the plane (and gear if you haven't bought it)

I been watching this sorta vids for ages, Been scared of heights my hole life, no idea.. Hated going up the 10 story or similiar look out towers around the city water front that are basically a steel cage with stairs lol

But ive always wanted to try it, always said its something that is worth risking your life to try.. I'm also good at watching EVERY bad video/ risky thing and what goes wrong with everything lol, Ive watched ALOT of crash's / gone wrong skydiving vids etc......

One day one day.. Would like to get my plane licence to.

I went skydiving a couple of times December last year. was asking the guys there and it seems once you get your license ($2500-$3000) then you can go for pretty much the cost of fuel at a local club ($30-$40) im keen as to do it eventually, prob 2 years time.

That wing suit video is awesome good find how sweet is it when he buzzed that road, so intense.

I got my AFF licence when I was 18, enjoyed just over 50 jumps before I met my missus and decided to give it up in favour of other delights. It is a bit pricey to start with but only $30-35 a jump once your qualified, unless you have a dodgy pilot mate that doesn't mind if you fall out of the plane. It's actually quite safe too, the gear is built for a purpose just like anything and it's only as dangerous as you make it.

BASE is minimum 200 skydives to get your skills up plus a pretty lengthy 'mentorship' process with someone that feels confident in your abilities and is willing to take you out.

If anyone gets into it I have an awesome rig sitting in my cupboard for sale - mates rates for BigD haha

This has definately sparked my interest in skydiving/base jumping. If I ever manage to get enough funds, I'm definately taking up this as a recreational hobby.
