They are still making PR I thought it stopped right around the time I stopped being interested in it. Ohh wait the world doesn't revolve around me.
Serious question is it going to be on that engine they won?

We don't know what version will be next so 1.0 will do. Means we don't have to make 10 new threads leading up to it! To answer your question Vis the PR DEV's are developing a standalone game on the C4 engine, commercial product sometime in the next 1-3 years.

I wish I had the time to but even so I find PR as it is currently a little lacklustre. Not to take away from the DEV team or there work as whole its just up until say last year I didn't really notice the limitations of the BF2 engine. Now I do and no matter how hard the team has tried to breathe new life into the engine, bring new aspects to the mod and increase the realism it just seems to fall short at least for me. Anyway I look forward to the day that PR is revitalised and they move away from BF2 and onto the C4 engine I guess.
Besides I'm still here, still kicking and still checking the forums and what is happening as a whole. BigD is as strong a gaming community as any I have found in AUS/NZ and even though is not as large as some of the other we have a interesting and diverse mix of people and games to play. So yes it is and for the foreseeable future will be a PR orientated community but that doesn't mean that if your not currently a massive PR fan boy that you can't enjoy the benefits of the community.

Bugfixes, balancing, all the factions, would be introduced from now until One point Oh, I presume, that way, 1.0 is completely stable with no bugs, and they can leave it alone till PR:C4 Comes out.

ok if what pysrus posted is in 0.91 i will play PR again come that release. the thing that ****ted me the most about PR was having no idea whether my completely stationary sights were actually indicative of where my bullets were going to to go. also that GL mod is amazing, and the cqb sights also v cool.
